Team Building Basics
Team Building Basics is ideal for individuals and teams wanting to gain a better understanding of why teams succeed. It focuses on the essential elements of team dynamics, process and organizational barriers to success. This workshop combines powerful content, models and theory with high-impact experiential learning activities to teach the skills demonstrated by high performing teams. Participants are provided with tangible methods for effecting positive change and process improvement within their team.
Team Accelerator
Team Accelerator has been designed around Dr. Meredith Belbin's extensive research into team roles. Dr. Belbin's research indicated that there are nine possible roles a person can assume on a team. Certain team roles are more important than others and some are simply indispensable. Participants will complete the Belbin Self-Perception Inventory and Observer Assessment tools to determine their team role preferences. Once defined, the workshop combines content and experiential learning activities. Matching individuals to their natural team role creates a balanced team and a foundation to maximize team productivity and performance.
Understanding Team Dynamics
High performance teams have established a rapport with each other that helps them to communicate and collaborate more effectively to achieve their goals and objectives. Understanding Group Dynamics will accelerate this process. It begins with participants completing an assessment and profiling tool. When experiential learning activities, content and theory are added, participants gain a better insight into their behavioral strengths and weaknesses; likes and dislikes; and favored style for learning, communicating, managing conflicts and decision making. They develop an appreciation for individual differences and how to use the differences in a constructive and productive manner.
Virtual Teams in the 21st Century
In the last 20 years business has transformed from a local and regional model to a global and virtual one. While technology has enabled us to connect to each other across the planet almost instantaneously, we have not managed to keep pace with the critical processes and tools to effectively manage a virtual team.
Cross-Functional Teams
Cross-functional teams comprise the majority of teams in many organizations. Cross-Functional Teams is delivered with a blend of interactive experiential learning activities and customized content that will provide cross-functional team members new awareness of how people and functions are intertwined in an organization. This awareness will lead to a higher level of performance and genuine solidarity.
