And so one of the most innovative team buiding events starts. Set in the late 1800’s in the Old West, each team’s job is to succesfully run a small but growing town. Each town competes to be the best. A comprehensive briefing pack welcomes each team to their town. Teams make their first decisions and the Wild West adventure begins!

No town is simply only about facts and figures. It’s also about education, law enforcement, infrastructure, and the population. So the teams also have to develop their town in more ways than one. Key decisions have to be made. How much will they tax their townsfolk? How much will they spend on key areas such as law enforcement, education, and building up the town’s infrastructure? Their decisions affect all towns and not just their own in this sophisticated simulation. Getting the right balance isn’t easy. Keeping it right is even harder.

Teams are measured on 3 equally important Key Performance Indicators. Decisions are computer analyzed and the results fed back on a “quarterly” basis.

But that really isn’t half of it. Teams also get the chance to increase the effectiveness of their decisions through tackling a wide variety of activities. For example, your law enforcement bucks go further when you and your colleagues learn real gun slinging skills. Your economy booms more when you successfully pan for real gold. And so on.
