When we facilitate a Romanbar session, product sampling isn’t the only aspect that involves the participants! In the idyllic setting of Oldetown, each team starts a wine bar. A comprehensive briefing pack welcomes them to the franchised family of Romanbar. Individually, each team will want to be the best. Importanty however, all teams are part of the same Romanbar franchise and will learn to collaborate to win even more business collectively.

Teams make decisions on a weekly basis! Their deliberations are computer analyzed and the results fed back on a ‘weekly’ basis in the form of profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements and general information on the state of the business.

As much as our participants enjoy the challenge of making the best decisions that they can, the thing that really gets them into the spirit is learning new skills relevant to running their bars. We have a wide variety of skills and tasks that participants can choose to try.
None are compulsory, so people can choose what they would like to have a go at. All are completely integrated into the simulation.

Our experts help the teams as they learn to become wine connoisseurs, tell different cheeses apart, show off their teamwork against the other bars in the cheese rolling race, recognize a large range of cocktails, sing live music to bring the customers in and so on!

As they demonstrate their teamwork, their new-found expertise converts prospective customers into revenue. Most participants tell us that their favorite part is learning flair bar keeping skills from our own flair specialist. Move over Tom Cruise! Romanbar participants are catching up fast!
