Raft Building
A great event is guaranteed! Raft building is a great team building event, guaranteed to separate the floaters from the lead balloons! Which of your friends and colleagues would you rather be marooned with?!
Raft Building focuses on group dynamics, communication skills and leadership. The group is presented with the challenge of building rafts out of limited resources. They must work together on all stages from selecting their materials, to designing, building, and finally paddling their rafts.
Your group will be split into teams. Each team will have a few minutes to select the equipment and materials they think they will need to complete the task of building an unsinkable raft large enough and strong enough to maneuver the team through a slalom course at cruising speed.
This activity requires creativity, initiative, and teamwork. Then comes the big crunch…will it float? Will it stay in one piece? And will it get you safely down the river?! Or are we watching a rerun of the Titanic? But do not worry if your raft does earn the name Titanic, the safety marshals will be close to rescue you and what remains of the raft.
This is a safe and incredibly enjoyable event!
