Formula 1 Go-Kart Classic is a unique team building activity that is designed to foster such important team qualities as leadership, problem solving, creativity, and communication skills. It is also a heck of a lot of fun!

Building the Car
The program is divided into three segments. In the first, each team designates sub-teams for design, construction, marketing, and safety. They are provided with a car kit containing various lengths of plastic PVC pipes, connectors, and also “money” to purchase a limited number of accessories for their vehicle. They are instructed to build a go-kart that will eventually seat a driver and be driven around a race course while being pushed by two team members.

The Marketing Presentation
Teams have an opportunity to demonstrate their creativity and marketing flair. They are provided materials to craft a colorful banner and presentation that represents their group and develop a 1 to 2 minute marketing presentation highlighting the features of their vehicle.

The Race - Drivers, Start Your Engines!
Go-karts compete against each other by traveling around a special race course set-up at the meeting site.
